Time changes everything, even you and I have changed

No I don't like introductions, I get stuck after the first sentence.

The rain, the winter spring has made us fade away

Live simply. Happiness will find you. I promise.

I really wonder how you feel on these nights so alone

I love band.
Saturday 17 December 2011 || 17:19

Sunday, 17th December 2011. Rainy.

Dear Diary,

Finally, I'm back from band camp.

After 4 days of bathing in cold water and sleeping on hard floors, shivering under my covers, I'm home. But the weird thing about band camp is, no matter how many scoldings and tough practices we go through, it still turns out to be a BLAST! Wake up, breakfast, practise, lunch, practise, dinner, practise, shower, supper, lights out, That's practically our entire routine during the 4D3N.

So, how much can I talk about? Except that it was tiring and tedious and mentally draining and my lips hurt like hell I think my teeth's gonna drop anytime soon. Be glad I didn't get sausage-lips.

This year's camp was the least physical one. Previous years, we would what? Run at least 20 rounds along the classroom block. I remember once we even had to run around in school, clap our hands above our heads, and shout; "We can do it!". We wouldn't stop until kk nods his head. Those were tiring times.
This year we just sat inside the music room till my butt hurts and play till my lips swell. I don't understand why, as the years go by, kk becomes more and more lenient. He gives lesser punishments. Honestly speaking, I wish he would do that again. It really brings out the band spirit, we were really bonded and all hyper during meal times and cheer like nobody's business. That's my band. This year, the cheer was ... I feel so no face. Fine, maybe it was partly because we are really in need of time.
Ok, but then the punishments and stuff were really tiring. P.s. I think kk is getting old. He like don't even have the mood to scold anymore, don't wake people up like he used to.

So this year, slept with Jo, Zuying, Nazhi, Najah, Izhar and Praveen and my section mates cause I feel bad about abandoning them for my friends. He! Poor Jo and Zuying and Jengwen still have to study for retest. Life is good without retest. And we are a bad batch. Boys & girls ain't even supposed to step into each others' bunk but even the majors and exco broke that rule :/

Eventually, Crystal decided to play with us during concert. Yay!
And I suddenly realise, yesterday would most probably be the last time we get to play ocean glow again. Regretted not playing good enough. That wasn't our standard. We'd all miss it dearly. Speech day was probably the best performance of tone poem we ever had. We gave kk the best performance he ever had <3

As for this year's concert, I seriously don't think it's that nice. But I shall blame it on the lack of time and inefficient sectionals. BUT at least the march-in kicked in a brilliant start to the concert, we are like so cool please! And the audiences seemed awed by our gimmicks and use of props. Everybody starting standing up and taking pictures and video. If only the music was great, everything would be PERFECT. BUT, it's okay, there's still SIBF next year.

And we will blast the audience for the last time ever in RSSB.
