It has been.. 22 days since I last posted. Mainly because I'm lazy, and I don't really have the time. Almost a month have passed, it's like in a blink of an eye, and TADAH! It's Chinese new year already, and nearing the end of January.
January is quite an eventful month for me this year. Quite a lot of things going on. New school term, OCMC'12, CCA exploration, birthday, CNY celebration etc. As usual, I'm probably too lazy to go into details with all the different occassions. But, going to feed you with some stories of mine, so.. here goes:
Starting of school. Bascially school still feels like any other year in Riverside ( so far, still, the worse has yet to come). First day of school was just adminstrative and boringboring stuff. I ended up in the first row of seats, soso not used at first. Then, change of some subject teachers and MrGoh is now goneee. Well, at least, I guess we got better teachers now (: Ms Hesley for English, Mdm Shen LF for HCL, Ms Tan CH (Seriously? Life's gonna be hell soon) for physics and Mrs tan for math (I'm gonna speak so slow but not bore you to death by spicing my speeches up with some weird ancient teacher). That's all.. I think? Oh, and so far, we don't really have a lot of homework, YET. But I keep sinking into a freaking terrible mood everytime lesson starts, guess I'm not ready yet.
OH AND BEFFORE I FORGET, I'm continuing HCL this year. Got an A1 plus distinction. WHICH is a veryveryvery shocking news cause my oral is like unusually lousy be it Chinese or English and I was sososo afraid it'd pull my marks down like hell and land me in a grade-three state. And then I saw Layping going up on stage to retrieve her good results and Mingwei looking at me as I receive my results, like as if the answer will be written on my face. Intended to go look for Layping after I got back my results, but was chased back to class :(
OCMC'12. Was placed in a group with people whom I'm certainly not familiar with and don't know, except for Charmian Kua & Jiajing who are good friends and maybe Xueyi too. I'm actually ok with that, unfamiliar faces, more friends! Just to mention, it's my first year as an OGL, and I'm posted to class 1/8. It was not too good initially and I had this sudden paranoid feeling that I'd do a lousy job, probably a shadow I've acquired from last year's SC. It's just me. Cause everything turned out fine and then soo great on the second day of the camp. I was even more assured when Vanitha came up to me and said, "You've wasted your talent for the past 3 years". And, lucky or not, Yongtat happened to be my class' alumni, together with Andy. Well at least he didn't disturb me that much cause he was in-charge of another group. Campfire night was the best part ever!
CCA exploration. Actually, there isn't anything much to talk about. Just that we totally change the whole band's sitting arrangement for it, and the band store was totally opened up, which means more doors to close and higher chances of me breaking Wafir's leg. Then Kktan can slide open the music room window and pop his head out to scare and talk to the sec ones. My sec ones were really quite supportive though (:
Birthday. WAS GREAAAATTT! Shall leave it for next time, or... to be kept in my head. Too lazy to elaborate now.
Chinese New Year Celebration. Everything was boring and I didn't get to see the Modern dancers perform. BUT! My beloved 1/8 made my day once again, other then constantly waving to me throughout the whole celebartion, they gave me a present too! It's like a paper bag with half the class's note to me and a little gift from Joey, Priscilla and Stepfanie. They are like super cute, such a big carrier and then... a few pieces of chocolate inside. Then another sec one stuff her sweets into my hand from the imposter god of fortune and I obviously know who he is. It was nothing big and extravagant, but still, sweet. Fir is jealous~!
It's almost one in the morning. Should sleep. Weee, New Year is here! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! :D
